Illustrations and book design for the russian edition of Loranga, Masarin och Dartanjang written by famous Barbro Lindgren

The book was published by Samokat Publishing house and was awarded in Iskisstvo knigi contest in 2008

This is the grotesque story of a boy, his dad and granddad, living at a remote swedish farm among the woods. Lots of humour, adventures, nonsense and seeking of ones Way

The book is richly illustrated, it's merely the picture-book, so it took much work to settle the visual universe of these hilarious heroes.

At first I planned the colourful techniques of acrilic paint and ink, but later the graphic style crystallyzed as the mix of light, transparent materials such as graphite pencil, felt tip pens and liner pen.

I love the story and hope to draw for the second book of these series some day,
